Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Ingredients:
Pumpkin seeds
Water
Salt
Melted butter
Pam vegetable spray
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rinse the seeds well.
For every 2 cups of seeds, put 4 cups of water and 2 tablespoons of salt in a
saucepan.
Add the seeds and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
Drain well in a colander, place on paper towels and pat dry.
Place the dry seeds in a plastic bag, and toss the pumpkin seeds with melted
butter
(1 tbs of butter for every 2 cups of seeds) until well coated.
Spray a cookie sheet with vegetable spray.
Spread the pumpkins over the cookie sheet evenly.
Bake for 30 minutes, stirring and tossing occasionally.
When the seeds are golden brown, they are ready.
