Hot Apples with Worms

Ingredients:

12 Granny Smith Apples
8-oz jar Boysenberry Jam
4 Tablespoons Softened Butter or Margarine
16-oz Bag of Fat Gummy Worms Candy

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Core apples to 1/2 inch from the bottom, without pushing all of the way through.
Fill the hole with 1 teaspoon each of the jam and butter. Bake uncovered for
35 to 45 minutes, until the apples are tender, but not mushy.

Remove from oven and cool 15 minutes. Place the apples in serving dishes, or
if you prefer, arrange them together on a large platter. Drizzle apples with the
syrup left from the baking pan. Fill holes in cooling apples with a gummy worm,
allowing half of its body to hang over the top of the apple.

Makes 12 servings.
